Book Bank - A Game Changer!
At St. Francis Institute Of Technology, students are always on the lookout for ways to make their academic journey smoother. Among the many resources available, the Book Bank facility extended by our Library has stood out as a hidden gem 📚✨. It wasn’t just about having access to textbooks; it was about empowerment—the freedom to borrow not just the usual 6 books, but two extra textbooks 📖📖, with the added bonus of a longer borrowing period ⏳.
Take Tejas, for example. As a final-year engineering student 🛠️, he often found himself juggling multiple projects and assignments. With exams around the corner 📝, he realized that some of his textbooks were in high demand at the library. But thanks to the Book Bank, Tejas was able to borrow extra books well in advance, easing the pressure of last-minute studying 📚🔥.He isn’t alone. 1,745 students have already benefited from the facility, discovering how much easier it made their studies 🎓. Whether it was avoiding the stress of competing for books, or having extra time to go through textbooks in-depth, the Book Bank had become an academic lifesaver for many 🌟.
Tejas’s hashtag#successstory was just one of many, and now, he made sure to spread the word to his juniors: "If you’re serious about succeeding, use the hashtag#BookBank. It's not just a service—it’s a game-changer!" 😎🎉

♟️ Why our library at St. Francis Institute Of Technology Embraced Chess for Students 📚
At St. Francis Institute Of Technology, we're not just focused on building future hashtag#engineers and tech experts—we’re committed to shaping minds that can thrive in a fast-paced, hashtag#AI-driven world. That's why we’ve brought hashtag#chess into our hashtag#library. The game is not just about moving pieces; it’s a powerful tool for personal development, and here's why:
A Mental Gym for the Brain – Did you know that chess is known as a "cognitive workout"? It exercises the brain in ways that smartphones and gadgets can't. In a world increasingly dominated by AI, being able to think critically, predict outcomes, and solve problems is more important than ever. Just like coding or machine learning, chess requires you to think several steps ahead!
Problem-Solving Skills for the Future – Every game of chess is a battle of wits. From deciding whether to attack or defend, to choosing the right piece for the job, chess teaches you to solve complex problems under pressure. In the AI field, this ability to quickly analyze and adapt is a huge advantage.
Focus in a Distracted World – In a world where we’re bombarded with notifications and distractions, chess teaches students to focus deeply, think long-term, and develop patience. These are crucial skills, whether you're building the next AI system or designing the future of technology.
Take hashtag#inspiration from Gukesh Dommaraju, the 17-year-old hashtag#chess prodigy from hashtag#India, who is shaking up the world of hashtag#grandmasters. Gukesh's victory at 13 years old in defeating several top grandmasters made headlines, proving that strategic thinking honed in chess can pave the way for extraordinary achievements. His rise in the chess world is proof that the skills learned on the chessboard—concentration, strategic planning, and foresight—are directly transferable to the tech world.
We’re excited to see our students at SFIT develop not just as future engineers but as thinkers who can tackle the complexities of AI and technology with clarity, strategy, and focus. 🌟
