Gratitude - An Awesome Expression!

On the 15th of April 2020 i.e. when the COVID 19 spread and the resultant lockdown was at its peak and we were all done with the #BananaCake and #DalgonaCoffee stints, I took the digital mode and penned down a series of 10 Thank You notes. These were answers to the questions framed by me for myself. I had so many people, things, feelings to be thankful for in my lifetime. I thought "Better Late than Never!" and so wrote snippets of my gratitude filled posts. Some of them being as follows:

📋🖊️ #ThankyouNote
1) What as a human being are you thankful for?
Life as we know it has given us innumerable opportunities to think, ponder, grow and enrich ourselves as we wake up to a new day every day. This is true with all the living beings on Earth. As a human being, I am thankful for the ability to think, and differentiate, to perceive, to be proactive. I am thankful that I can understand and believe. I can trust and follow. I can choose and agree. I can opt to differ and be faithful.
I am thankful to all my relatives, friends, colleagues for the trust and confidence they have shown for me all through the years. They have indeed made me a very humble person.🙏🏻☺️

2) Which song are you thankful for?

Music is to the soul what words are to the mind. A song is a combination of words, music and if Asha Bhosle is the playback - it's like cherry on top of the cake!

Well, it's difficult to be thankful to a single song perhaps because our moods dictate our favourite songs. Brushing aside the gloomy situation and lifting up my mood is a song very near to my soul sung by none other than our Asha tai.

And it goes...दूख और सूख के रास्ते

बने हैं सब के वासते

जो गम से हार जाओगे

तो किस तरह निभाओगे...

Thank you to the playback, musicians, lyricist, actors for the excellent song.🙏😊

3) Which place are you thankful for?

I fairly understand that this question implies I have travelled to uncountable places. May be my favourite places are laden with snow or are blooming with flowers. Or it would be a place where I forget my responsibilities and imagine my mind is idling around without any prejudices or anxiety! It would be a place where I am - "I, Me, Myself'. Any Guess??

Okay, let me make it more obvious - I go to this place almost everyday. And the best part is it suits all my moods - adventurous, mysterious, inspirational, motivational, emotional, philosophical and mostly technical😁😁. (Uh! I know Technical cannot be a mood😊).

Without further beating around the bush, let me put it down - it's the library - our *SFIT LIBRARY* - my workplace. It's a place where I have grown as a person. It's a place where we gather everyday to work, laugh, opine, justify, learn, re-learn and create memories! We have our own distinct attitudes, firm beliefs and unimaginable understandings. But we are a *TEAM*.

Here, we have many failed attempts at learning Malayalam from Sister Bhavya but we communicate!

We have vowed to never ever having tea whilst sipping it the next very moment with Sucheta Prabhudesai!

And in no time, we might be creating History with Anant Yadav's historical titbits!

Raheem Sayyad although an introvert comes out as a totally different person when he is penning a poem!

There's so much to learn from Sudhakar who takes everything in his stride!

With such a magnitude of inherent talents, do you think I should be thankful to any other place?

So, here's thanking SFIT LIBRARY🙏😊
